About

I'm Salman Asif, a Senior Technical Product Manager working across healthcare and B2B SaaS.

Professional perspective

My focus is where customer needs, business priorities and technical choices meet. In healthcare and B2B software, decisions about APIs, interoperability and AI-enabled products also affect what a team can support, the risks it takes on and the commitments it makes to customers.

That is why I look beyond whether a feature can be built. I want to understand the problem behind a request, what makes a proposed change worthwhile and what would happen if an important assumption proved wrong. Technical detail matters because of the decisions it helps people make.

How I work

I value direct, respectful challenge and a clear recommendation. Useful contribution also means being honest about where I can help, what needs another kind of expertise and what should happen next. Technology is one way to improve a situation, not a reason to ignore how people work or what customers need.

Healthcare and B2B SaaS are areas of depth, not a requirement for starting a conversation. You may be shaping an idea, deciding what belongs in a first release, or improving an existing product or business. We can start with the context rather than assume the same answer fits every situation.

From the question to the next handoff

I connect problem framing and product requirements with delivery clarification, validation and the next decision. The work examples distinguish my contribution from the engineering implementation, and completed outputs from outcomes that were not measured.
